Marsh Madness

*** Goblins ransack the adventurer group in a continuous onslaught. They are seeking Turgor's (evil wizard) bounty on their, all too pretty, humanoid heads. ***

After waking in the village, we talk to the villagers and decide to light the fires and party. While preparing for the party, we hear some high cackling laugh coming from the woods around the village. We decide to enter the woods and locate this laughing. We find some  Dire Hyenas around the village and destroy two of them. We encounter a Knoll who demands the Eye from us. We attack him and jack him up good. He surrendered to us and we recovered from him several magical weapons. Boram acquired his Skygge Bow, which is a chromed longbow that, when the string is drawn, produces a black arrow which is fired from it. When the arrow lands, it remains for a short time, after which it dissipates. Talus and Boram then proceed to rip out one of his eyes and then release him. We turned and rushed back toward town whilst being pursued by more Dire Hyenas. We are ambushed on the way back by an Anti-Paladin in black on a black horse. We defeated him handily and looted the few items on his corpse.
